Children‘s Environmental School

Children‘s Environmental School (CES) was formed in 1989 and established as an independent national NGO in 1993. Work of CES is directed towards improvement of the education system. CES fulfils its mission by promoting incorporation of environmental education into school. CES provides opportunities for young people to carry out their ideas and gain work experience.

To accomplish its goal, CES:

  • prepares and publishes environmental education materials in close cooperation with practicing teachers and experts
  • provides in-service training for teachers and school leaders by delivering workshops and offering individual tutoring
  • builds school support network by organising national and international environmental education  projects in order to promote further development of environmental education.
